It is the responsibility of an employer to conduct a proper investigation whenever any of the employees lodge any type of complaint. Conflicts are normal within an organizational environment and a proper workplace investigation can effectively stop that by finding out the sources of the conflict and working upon it. Typically workplace investigations are conducted based on the complaints of the employees. One of the main necessity of workplace investigation is to take care of the confidentiality of the matter by keeping all of the information and personal data about the person who have lodged a complaint confidential.
